What is the AVCA All-America Watch List?
“The AVCA All-America Watch List is for the top rising Seniors who have received external recognition for their outstanding volleyball play. For example, these athletes must have received some type of recognition such as, but not limited to: All-District, All-Region, All-State, PrepVolleyball Ranking List, USAV HP Team, etc. In order for an athlete to be named to the AVCA High School All-America List, their high school coach must be an active AVCA Member…On November 9th, the AVCA will announce three teams of 50 All-Americans and another 150 athletes as All-American Honorable Mention for a total of 300 athletes selected. The All-Region Teams will be composed of the top 50% of nominated players from each Region.”
Maisie Alexander Maisie Alexander 5'6" | DS/L Jesuit | 2022 State OR , 5’6”, DS, Jesuit High School, Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy
Alexander has been the starting libero since her sophomore year for the Jesuit High School Crusaders, helping them win a 6A State title in 2019. This past club season she was one of two rostered liberos for the OJVA 17-1 National team. Alexander has stellar ball control, is quick on defense, and has great court sense.
Alexander was awarded Metro First Team All-League and the 6A All-Tournament Second Team in 2019. She was also named to the PrepDig 6A All-Star team this past season. Metro team selections were kept private in 2020 due to the pandemic, but it is safe to assume she would have made the First Team selection again.
Alexander is currently not committed to a school for the fall of 2022.
Ashli Edmiston Ashli Edmiston 5'8" | OH Wilsonville | 2022 State OR , 5’9”, OH, Wilsonville High School, Athena Volleyball Academy
Edmiston has been the starting six rotation outside attacker since her freshman year for the Wilsonville High School Wildcats. She has been a very big part of this team’s success the past few seasons, helping them advance to the 5A State finals in 2019. This past club season she was the six rotation outside hitter for the Athena 17-1 National team. She is a bouncy outside attacker, with a hammer of an arm. Playing all six rotations, she brings steady ball control on serve receive and defense.
Edmiston was named Wilsonville Volleyball Player of the Year and was named to the 5A All-Star team by PrepDig this past season. In 2019, she was awarded Northwest Oregon Second Team All-League and in 2018 she was awarded Northwest Oregon First Team All-League. In 2019, she was also named to the 5A All-Tournament Second Team.
Edmiston is currently not committed to a school for the fall of 2022.
Madison Heagney Madison Heagney 5'9" | S Cresent Valley | 2022 State OR , 5’8”, S, Crescent Valley High School, North Pacific Juniors
Heagney has been a varsity starter since her freshman year for the Crescent Valley High School Raiders as their primary setter. She has helped the Raiders become a force to be reckoned with in the 5A classification. This past club season she was on the NPJ 18-2 National team and saw court time as a setter.
Heagney received Mid Willamette Honorable Mention in 2019.
Heagney is currently not committed to a school for the fall of 2022.
Tatum Lubisich, 6’0”, MB, Wilsonville High School, Athena Volleyball Academy
Lubisich has been the starting middle blocker for the Wilsonville High School Wildcats since her freshman season and was crucial to the team’s success in advancing to the 5A State finals in 2019. Although she did not participate in club volleyball this past season, she played for Athena 16-1 Gold the season previous. She moves well laterally on the block and does a great job being fast in transition.
Lubisich is currently not committed to a school for the fall of 2022.
Tess Masingale Tess Masingale 6'3" | MB Jesuit | 2022 State OR , 6’3”, MB, Jesuit High School, Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy, Cal Poly Pomona
Masingale has been the starting middle blocker for the Jesuit High School Crusaders since her sophomore season, helping them win a 6A State title in 2019. She is arguably one of the most dominant and lethal middle blockers in the state of Oregon. She brings power and size to the position, with an arm swing that is fast and explosive. She puts up an absolute roof of a block. She was the only junior to make the OJVA 18-1 National team this past club season and dominated until injuring her hand mid-way through.
Masingale was awarded Metro First Team All-League and the 6A All-Tournament team in 2019, She was named to the PrepDig 6A All-Star team this past season. Metro team selections were kept private in 2020 due to the pandemic, but it is safe to assume she would have made the First Team selection again.
Masingale recently committed to play at Cal Poly Pomona for the fall of 2022.
Ella Nordquist Ella Nordquist 6'0" | MB West Linn | 2022 State OR , 6’0”, MB/RS, West Linn High School, Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy, Western Oregon University
Nordquist moved up to Oregon from San Diego last year and has made a name for herself. She immediately got herself settled with a club team, making the OJVA 17-1 National team, and made the varsity squad at powerhouse West Linn High School. She saw court time as both a right side and middle for the Lions and OJVA. She is powerful, explosive, and dynamic. Skill aside, she brings a ton of energy to both the court and the bench, always hyping her teammates.
Nordquist recently committed to play at Western Oregon University for the fall of 2022.
Sierra Noss, 5’4”, S/DS, Crescent Valley High School
Although Noss has been a three-year varsity starter for the Crescent Valley High School Raiser, she is not listed on the current roster.
Noss received Mid Willamette Honorable Mention in 2019.
Noss is currently not committed to a school for the fall of 2022.
Sophie Scott Sophie Scott 6'3" | MB Catlin Gabel | 2022 State OR , 6’3”, MB, Catlin Gabel School, Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy, Cal Berkeley
Unfortunately, Scott went down with a knee injury in the middle of the high school season in March and has been rehabbing the past few months. Prior to the injury, she was a dominant force as a middle blocker, and outside attacker for Catlin Gabel School. She has been a varsity starter for the Eagles since her freshman season and a major part of the team’s success the past three seasons. Prior to her injury, she was a middle blocker for the OJVA 17-1 National team. She is a dynamic middle blocker and hits the slide with veracity.
Scott was awarded Lewis and Clark First Team All-League and was named to the PrepDig 3A All-Star team this past season.
Scott recently committed to play at Cal Berkeley for the fall of 2022.
Emily Warmenhoven Emily Warmenhoven 5'10" | OH West Linn | 2022 State OR , 6’0”, OH, West Linn High School, Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy, Belmont University
Warmenhoven, the #1 2022 recruit in PrepDig rankings, has been the starting six rotation outside hitter since her sophomore season for the West Linn High School Lions, helping them finish at the top of the Three Rivers League the past two seasons. She was a part of the OJVA 17-1 National team this past club season as a six rotation outside attacker. She has one of the fastest arm swings in the state which coupled with her explosive attack, makes her lethal.
Warmenhoven was awarded Three Rivers Second Team All-League in 2019, and Three Rivers First Team All-League in 2020. She was also named to the PrepDig 6A All-Star team.
Warmenhoven recently committed to play at Belmont University for the fall of 2022.
