Soraya Jackson – 2024 | Allen East
The 5’11 middle averaged nearly four kills per set this season while hitting a state best .616 efficiency. This also includes an incredible 68% kill percentage. She led the Mustangs offensively this fall as they recently concluded their season with a 19-5 overall record. Jackson has a high ceiling as she is just a sophomore with a lot of room to grow regarding her offensive tools and range. She gets off the floor quickly as her high elbow contact and arm speed are a big reason for her offensive success.
Jenna Lucas – 2022 | Watkins Memorial
The Warriors continue through their season on the arm of Lucas as they are 23-1 overall with another step in their postseason journey ahead of them later this week. Lucas is averaging a team high 4.9 kills per set while hitting .603. The 6’0 middle is a terrific multi-sport athlete and can elevate very well at the end of her approach footwork to create a high contact point above the net. As she can do it on the defensive side as well with 4.6 blocks per match, her offensive prowess is a huge factor as she recently achieved a new school record for total kills in a single season.
Kenzi Sager – 2022 | Millersport
The senior led the Lakers offensively with 4.3 kills per set. What was most impressive is that she terminated the ball 75% of the time while hitting with an efficiency of .565. She was a big contributor for Millersport in many facets of the game as she averaged seven digs and four blocks per match while also serving up 42 aces on the season.
