7 Stock Risers from the Top 250 Expo

The talent at the Top 250 Expo was better than ever last weekend. The hard work and dedication of these athletes showed in every touch they got on the ball. There was some great volleyball from start to finish, and athletes impressed on every court in every position!

Here are seven stock risers from the Wisconsin Top 250 Expo. 

Danielle Kopacz Danielle Kopacz 5'10" | OH Pewaukee | 2024 State WI - 2024 - Outside Hitter - Sting 16 Black 

Every time Danielle steps on the court, she shows more and more of what a fantastic athlete she is. She is dynamic with her swings and has a lot of power behind her hits. Danielle is also very competitive, whether it is a warm-up drill or the state semi-finals. She brings an edge to the court and is constantly improving and performing at a high level on the court. 

Olivia Wyma Olivia Wyma 6'4" | MB Arrowhead | 2024 State WI - 2024 - Middle Hitter - Sting 16 Gold

Olivia is an athlete that puts in the work. She is constantly learning and improving on the court. Her height has always been a great asset; however, it's her athleticism and volleyball knowledge that makes her a powerhouse middle.  Olivia puts up a solid block and also has excellent shots on offense. If she keeps improving at the rate she has been, she will quickly become unstoppable and a top prospect in this class. 

Lilly Bandle Lilly Bandle 6'1" | MB West Bend East | 2023 State WI - 2023 - Middle Hitter - I AM VBC

Lilly is an energizer on the court. Not only was she a positive influence on every athlete she played with on the court, but she also interacted with coaches. Lilly has fun on the court and is very competitive on every point. She is a very dynamic middle who has excellent fundamentals in every skill set. She makes big plays and wants the ball constantly. As a middle, she is always engaged in every play and continually communicating with her setters and amping up her passers and fellow hitters.   

Ella Kern Ella Kern 5'8" | OH New Berlin West | 2023 State WI - 2023 - Outside Hitter - Milwaukee Sting 17 White

Ella is an explosive outside with a high snap on the ball and a very fast arm swing. She is aggressive at the net yet has a controlled touch on the ball. She can just as easily pound a ball down the line or tip it deep corner. Ella also is solid on defense and serve receive. She is a reliable athlete who constantly executes for her team. 

Katie Johannes Katie Johannes 5'9" | OH Mukwonago | 2023 State WI - 2023 - Outside Hitter - Motion Volleyball Program

Katie has always been solid on offense. She is an aggressive and powerful hitter that can push through a lot of blocks. In addition, she has been putting in work on her defense and serve receive during the high school season. She continues to improve and learn in all aspects of her game and brings that knowledge to the court. Katie has great energy on the court and loves the sport. 

Julianna Rettig- 2023 - DS/L - Sky High Volleyball Club

Julianna is hands down one of the hardest-working athletes out there. She played at the Top 250 Expo with a broken thumb and still managed to stand out and impress. Julianna has good angles, court awareness, and ball control which set her up for success on serve receive and defense. She is a player to watch in this class who is constantly improving. 

Jordan Czajkowski - 2025 - Setter - Sting 15 Gold 

Jordan was very impressive at the Top 250 Expo. She has a great touch on the ball and a very fast reaction time. Honestly, if they weren't wearing colored shirts by grade, I would have thought she was at least a year, if not two, older than she is. She is consistent and very mature on the court. Jordan leads by example and works hard on every single play.
