At the same time, the top private high schools of the state were competing for their state titles in Waco, the host city of the Texas Association of Parochial and Private High Schools (TAPPS) State Championship, where six other teams emerged victorious.
As last week our focus was entirely on what going on in Garland, we’ll take the next few days to honor the winners of the TAPPS tournament and its top performers. Today we’ll take a look at how things went down in Division 2A.

It were the All Saints Episcopal Patriots who stood at the top of the podium in the division after the team took the St. Joseph Catholic Eagles down in the state match.
The team from Lubbock was dominant in the final, taking care of their Bryan opponents in straight sets (25-13, 27-25, 25-13) to secure the title.
