Here are three 2025 11th Region freshman hitters on the rise.
Sophie Dufour is a freshman outside hitter for Franklin County High School. Dufour possesses solid jumping ability and excels as a hitter from the left side. The athletic Dufour adjusts well to sets coming from any location in addition to being able to hit from both the front row and the back row. An experienced outside hitter, Dufour reads defenses successfully.
Addie Lowe Addie Lowe 6'0" | OH Lexington Catholic | 2025 State KY is a freshman middle hitter for Lexington Catholic High School. Agile, Lowe moves well from side to side and uses quick attacks on offense regularly. Lowe closes blocks consistently, both individually and with the outside hitter and the opposite hitter. Quick reacting, Lowe reads the setter efficiently and adjusts her approach to get the most out of attacks.
Beatriz Moreira is a freshman middle hitter for Bryan Station High School. Athletic, Moreira has the ability to execute fast attacks routinely. A consistent blocker who is productive along the middle of the net, Moreira is poised to take on a larger role for her team during the 2022 high school volleyball season.
