Logan Martinus (2022) | 5’10 OH | Birch Run/Five:1
With a team full of defensive dandies, Logan Martinus was the go-to player when Birch Run needed to score. Her signature move was a wicked line shot on the left that was near unstoppable to defend. Birch Run was able to capitalize on her versatility running across the net with great success. Megan Gross Megan Gross 5'10" | OH Bay City Central | 2022 MI (2022) | 5’11 OH | Bay City Central/Arsenal
Capping off one impressive prep career, Megan Gross Megan Gross 5'10" | OH Bay City Central | 2022 MI has shown to be a game changer throughout. Laney Kokaly Laney Kokaly 5'6" | DS/L Essexville-Garber | 2023 MI (2023) | 5’6 Lib | Essexville-Garber/Five:1
Laney Kokaly Laney Kokaly 5'6" | DS/L Essexville-Garber | 2023 MI has been a mainstay in the Garber lineup for over three seasons now. This year, she really stepped up her game. Ella Wagner (2023) | 5’7 S | Essexville-Garber
Garber’s offense was pretty spread out with weapons across the net. it wasn’t hard for Ella Wagner to find a scoring outlet. A steady setter, Wagner doesn’t go for the fancy trick plays. She just gets the job done, and a very good one at that. Wagner has a vision for the court, defending her own well and finding open area dumping on two. One of the top setters in Bay County, Wagner led the county in assists per set this season with 8.5.
Ashlyn Martin (2022) | 6’1 MB | Saginaw Valley Lutheran
This middle blocker is one of the most dynamic in the area. With the ability to play on the pins, she plays a really versatile game. Ashlyn Martin not only is able to bring the heat with her attacks, but she can spread it around with ease. Martin was a go-to weapon in the Valley Lutheran offense, leading the team in attacks and efficiency.
Adrianna Mileski (2022) | 6’0 MB | Swan Valley/Five:1
Another athletic middle, Adrianna Mileski plays a very explosive game. With a whip of an arm, Mileski is a terminator. Not only is her arm speed tough to slow down, but her ability to hit different sets across the net is tough. While she can bring the hammer down on opponents, Mileski also has a very clever off-speed game to keep defenders honest.
