With three having played together for the last three years, one coming from a conference rival and rounds out with an underrated defender who will focus on being a defender. All five have experience in Missouri state playoffs and bring in high volleyball IQs. Look for these five athletes to contribute in some form as newcomers to the Saints program.
11. Ella Brinkmann Ella Brinkmann 5'9" | OH St. Francis Borgia | 2022 State MO | St. Francis Borgia
A four-year starter for the Knights, the 5’8 outside hitter immediately impacted the powerhouse program. With 1520 kills, 910 digs, and 162 blocks for her career, the highflyer will be hard to keep off the court next year for the Saints. Brinkmann is 1 of 3 recruits for the Saints from Borgia and 1 of 4 from the Archdiocesan Athletic Association conference. Ella is the gem of this class and will provide the Saints with a powerful outside or a right-pin hitter. She was a primary passer in the two-person serve receive, a solid defender, and can crush the ball from anywhere on the court or use her placement to score at will.
19. Rachel Schipper Rachel Schipper 5'8" | S St. Dominic | 2022 State MO | St. Dominic
With Rachel running the offense for the Crusaders the last three years, she has done nothing but lead them to 3 consecutive district titles and two final fours. The 5’10 setter ended her high school career with 2292 assists, 599 digs, and 133 kills. Schipper has the hands, experience in big games, and volleyball IQ that could get her on the court her freshman year.
24. Caroline Glastetter Caroline Glastetter 5'10" | OH St. Francis Borgia | 2022 State MO | St. Francis Borgia
A three-year starter for the Knights at the outside hitter spot is the 2nd recruit from Borgia. Glastetter has improved each year at Borgia, and the 5’10 outside hitter ended her career with 745 kills, 108 blocks, and 518 digs. Given her vertical, wingspan, and power Glastetter could be used as an outside or right-side hitter and impact the Saints offense.
109. Lily Brown Lily Brown 6'0" | RS St. Francs Borgia | 2022 State MO | St. Francis Borgia
The third recruit for the Saints from Borgia is 5’10 right-side hitter Lily Brown Lily Brown 6'0" | RS St. Francs Borgia | 2022 State MO . Brown has started varsity the last three years at Borgia and excelled on the right pin. With 624 kills, 115 blocks, and 200 digs, Lily was a deadly line hitter and provided more power and blocking for the 2022 Saints recruiting class.
NR. Olivia Klump | Oakville
Klump rounds out the 2022 recruiting class for Maryville and will transition to defense for the Saints. Helping with the 6-2 offense for the Tigers, she ends her career with 678 assists, 778 digs, and 178 kills. She is focused now on just defending watch for Klump to help the backcourt.
