We are proud to announce our Second Team All State in this article series. We will be posting a few athletes at a time in order to give enough credit to each player. We are very proud of each player and everyone who helped them reach their goals this year. These players are being picked due to their individual performance on their teams this high school season. This next article in this series is devoted to the Setters. These two young ladies are our picks for 2nd Team All- State.
2nd Team All State Selection: Setter
Reilly Morrow Reilly Morrow 5'11" | S Moore | 2022 State OK [2022] 5-9 Setter (HS; Moore/Club: Rise/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Reilly is currently ranked as our 12th best overall prospect and the second best setter in the 2022 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She is the leader of the varsity squad at Moore High School and she plays club at Rise Volleyball club. We profiled her earlier this year and here is a little refresher of what we said, “Through her awesome play this past high school season, she earned All-City honorable mention by the Oklahoman. Reilly is also a very accomplished beach volleyball player as she has won numerous tournaments in the sand. It takes a special person to be able to play both sports so easily. Anyone who knows both sports understands that they are two completely different sports. It takes overall ball control in order to be solid in the sand. Stay tuned to see more coverage of Miss Morrow. Please congratulate her on being named one of the best players in the 2022 class!” We watched closely and she played amazing this season for Moore. Our Scout Derek Jackson had high praise for her and said that in person she was astounding. Please help us in congratulating Reilly on earning 2nd Team All-State.
2nd Team All State Selection: Setter
Tehya Johnson Tehya Johnson 5'7" | S Charles Page | 2022 State OK [2022] 5-7 Setter (HS: Charles Page/Club: Virago/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Tehya is currently ranked as the 37th best overall prospect in the 2022 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays for Sand Springs Charles Page high school and also for Virago volleyball club. She was able to surpass the 1,000 career assist mark this season through some awesome court play. Tehya also plays some amazing defense out of the right back position. She helped Charles Page HS stay super competitive in every match digging the line shots from opponents’ left side pin hitters. But her bread and butter are her soft hands that allow her to be very consistent on either pin whether setting with or against flow. We are proud to announce that she has earned 2nd Team All-State. Please congratulate her on the achievement as there are some amazing setters that were nominated.
