The Minnesota Top 250 Expo provided a great look at some of Minnesota's prospective talent. Here are a few of the top players by their graduating class that attended the Prep Dig Minnesota Top 250.

2023

[caption id="attachment_169701" align="alignright" width="300"] [player_tooltip player_id="169705" first="Kaysie" last="Bakke"][/caption]

[player_tooltip player_id="169705" first="Kaysie" last="Bakke"] – 2023 – 6'1 – Pin Hitter – Forest Lake - Kokoro
Bakke caught my attention early on with her physical and natural presence at the net. She has a lot of power to force the ball through the block and has all-around skills to round out her game. Bakke can elevate and take an aggressive swing from either pin.

[player_tooltip player_id="102872" first="Ella" last="Quiring"] – 2023 – 5'6 – Libero – Southwest Christian – M1
Coming from a training program like M1, Quiring has great experience, and it shows. She makes great defensive movement and creates space while presenting sharp accurate angles with her platform. Quiring is effective from anywhere on the floor and she has great balance, pursuit, and vision of both sides of the court. She puts her teammates at ease by presenting a calm and confident presence.

[player_tooltip player_id="102873" first="Kennedi" last="Brumley"] - 2023 - 5'9 - Libero/Outside Hitter - [program_tooltip program_id='432165' first='[program_tooltip program_id='432082' first='[program_tooltip program_id='430384' first='Eagan' last='']' last='']' last=''] - M1 17-3

Brumley is a talker and helps navigate her team. She's also versatile with the ability to swing out of the back row or front row. Brumley is a team motivator and has a solid defensive platform.

[caption id="attachment_169710" align="alignright" width="300"] [player_tooltip player_id="169706" first="Kylie" last="Hart"][/caption]

[player_tooltip player_id="169706" first="Kylie" last="Hart"] – 2023 – 5'4 – Setter/Right Side Hitter – Floodwood – MN North
Hart puts up some really great hittable slides that you could see middles drooling over. She had a nice touch on the ball and sound location through her distribution. Hart is physical with all-around skills and good movement on the court. She also plays with confidence that had her pegged as one of the top setters in the building.

[player_tooltip player_id="169707" first="Sierre" last="Lumpkin"] – 2023 – 5'11 – Middle Blocker – Benilde St. Margaret – [program_tooltip program_id='428866' first='Vital' last=''] 16-1
Lumpkin is a powerhouse middle with a solid armswing that can be showcased in her efficient style of play. She has good footwork that allows her to attack from a range of positions along the net.

[caption id="attachment_169711" align="alignright" width="300"] [player_tooltip player_id="135308" first="Naomi" last="Romslo"][/caption]

[player_tooltip player_id="135308" first="Naomi" last="Romslo"] – 2023 – 6'0 – Middle Blocker/Outside Hitter – Simley – Northern Lights 17-2
Romslo was super explosive on the slide attack, and she has lightning-fast footwork. She wasn't the tallest player at the Expo, but Romslo displayed solid attack execution through both controlled and competitive activities. She has a high contact point when attacking and does a great job sealing the net and taking up space at the net on defense. Romslo has a high ceiling and would make for a great steal at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id="169708" first="Tori" last="Liljegren"] – 2023 – 5'11 – Outside Hitter/Middle Blocker – Stillwater – MN Juniors
Liljegren was fun to watch because every time she touched the ball she seemed to get better and better. She was fast off the floor and could elevate with a long hangtime making her tough to block. Liljegren's high contact point gave her the ability to hammer it down the line or take a big cut.

2024

[caption id="attachment_169712" align="alignright" width="300"] [player_tooltip player_id="108103" first="Emma" last="Rommes"][/caption]

[player_tooltip player_id="108103" first="Emma" last="Rommes"] – 2024 – 5'5 – Setter/Right Side Hitter – Caledonia – Vhawk Xtreme 16 Adidas
Rommes started jump backsetting right out of the gates as soon as we broke into positions. That move takes guts and confidence and I see why she had both, she was nailing it. You could see the players around her have confidence in her play. Rommes has quick footwork, soft touch, and a quick release.

[player_tooltip player_id="168255" first="Brielle" last="Riess"] – 2024 – 5'11 – Outside Hitter/Middle Blocker – Marshall – Southwest MN
Riess has a solid high contact and can power through the block. She is another player that performs with a maturity well beyond her age. Riess has a lot of potential with an effective approach pattern.

[player_tooltip player_id="169709" first="Maddy" last="Anderson"] – 2024 – 5'7 - Setter/Right Side Hitter – Elk River – MN Select (title photo)
It was evident in Anderson's play that she is a leader and has experience as she effortlessly stepped into this type of skill showcase. She had good accuracy in her sets and hitters seemed to thrive when she was setting. Anderson is athletic and an overall impact player.

2025

[player_tooltip player_id="117880" first="Mesaiya" last="Bettis"] – 2025 – 6'0 – Pin Hitter – Burnsville – Northern Lights
If I had to describe Bettis in one word it would be “explosive”. She may have been one of the most exciting athletes at the Expo because she is physical but shows a maturity in her movement and skill level. Her dynamic style of attacking comes from her ability to elevate through an explosive approach and quick transition work. Bettis kept her movement simple, which allowed her to be very efficient with her attacking.
