This group is full of players that got a lot of varsity experience this past fall, which should lead to some good things on the floor during club season. The lone 2025 member to move up is Layla Visser Layla Visser 5'11" | OH Rockford | 2025 State MI on the outside. She’s a very explosive player that can touch 10’4” with a 6-foot frame. Izzy Whittaker Izzy Whittaker 6'1" | OH Grand Haven | 2024 State MI , Sophia Allen Sophia Allen 6'0" | OH Grand Rapids Catholic Central | 2024 State MI and Morgan Kaiser Morgan Kaiser 5'11" | MB Rockford | 2024 MI are also available on the outside. Look for this team to really show a lot of improvement by season’s end.
15 Black
A solid group of 2025 prospects make up this team. Leading the way could be outside/middle Alissa Hulst Alissa Hulst 6'2" | OH Holland Christian | 2025 State MI , who stands 6’2” and is coming into her own in regards to using her length to her advantage. This could be a really big club season for Hulst. Adelee Kaiton was a California import from last year that is an athletic option on the outside, but can also play setter. Kylie Loehfelm Kylie Loehfelm 6'1" | OH Forest Hills Northern | 2025 State MI , Jillian Swierbut Jillian Swierbut 5'9" | OH Grand Haven | 2025 MI and Lucy VanDrunen will also be primary outsides, but all have the ability to move around to different positions. The same can be said for primary middles Emmanuella Neff Emmanuella Neff 5'11" | MB South Christian | 2025 State MI , Ella Taatjes Ella Taatjes 6'0" | MB East Grand Rapids | 2025 State MI and Grace Allen. At setter, Grace Riedel and Cali Stevons will handle the position, but can shift to the back row as well. Madison Peal is a standout libero that will give 15 Black a strong defensive game. If the hitters can develop around this strong defense, 15 Black can make a lot of waves in the state.
