The 6’2 outside hitter will beat you to the punch if you let her get the ball in her possession. She gets good height off the ground and her swings are strong and consistent from both sides of the court. Johnson’s strong points come from the center field or the left side of the net and pose a threat each time. From the defensive end of things, Johnson plays well as a defensive player, blocking the ball from touching her home court and being able to get gritty into the floor, when the balls fall through the defensive line of her team. Johnson is a player that gets straight to business when she steps out on the court and is one to keep your eyes out for.
Deena Westby– Illinois Juniors
Westby is a new athlete that has popped up on my radar and I feel that she is going to be an athlete you are going to want to keep on your radar. Westby is a diverse athlete on the court as she can play both in the middle as a libero and is a reliable hitter from the outside. She is determined and strong-willed when she steps out on the court and her approach to the net is clean and consistent. What standout most about Westby and her foundation training is her ability to go from playing as a libero to rotating right into a hitter, and that shows how versatile she is as an athlete and her skill set.

Morrison is another player to keep eyes on for the remainder of the season and to follow during the beginning of the offseason. Morrison stands at 6’0 and has a unique swing on her and her approach to the net is beautiful to watch, but don’t let that fool you. She has a strong swing and is consistent at that and that’s what makes her a standout athlete and I am impressed.

– Ultimate Volleyball Club
Byas is not a new name when it comes to scouting the hundreds of athletes that are competing for the same thing. Byas has talent and strength for being competitive on the court and working non-stop to being one of the best on the court. Byas is quick on her feet and has the advantage of getting low and steady to the floor when it comes to beating the ball from hitting the floor. Byas will not fail to catch your eye, because though standing at 5’1, she manages to catch your eye in every area of the court she is in.
