Here’s a look at some Kentucky high school volleyball players headed to the next level.
Central High School senior opposite hitter/setter/defensive specialist Mariah Green has committed to Kentucky State University. Athletic, Green is a productive hitter from the right side who can contribute as a reliable setter. Able to play multiple positions, Green possesses a diverse skill set that allows her to deliver offensively and defensively.
Lafayette High School senior outside hitter/opposite hitter/defensive specialist Katie Jacobs has committed to Niagra University. Jacobs elevates well at the net and can hit consistently from either side. The Lafayette High School senior works well with middle blockers on blocks and completes attack hits regularly.
Prestonsburg High School senior outside hitter/defensive specialist Jada Slone has committed to the University of Pikeville. Slone has displayed the ability to produce regularly both offensively and defensively. A productive hitter from the left side, Slone is an athletic player who thrives both blocking and passing.
Montgomery County High School senior libero/defensive specialist Brianna Terpening has committed to Spalding University. Terpening is quick and covers the court thoroughly. A strong back row hitter who is agile, Terpening digs and pursues well as a defensive player.
