‘25 Mighty Middles Attending the Gauntlet

<p>The mighty middle! Middles are an essential aspect of the sport of volleyball. A good middle is athletic, smart, and powerful. Middles can make the difference in tough matches and can make a good team a great one. She brings energy, power, and consistency to the court. Gabriella also recently trained with the USAV National Team Development Program. Don’t take your eye off Gabriella, because she will only continue to develop as an athlete.</p> <h3>Jenna Kolosta – 1st Alliance 15 Gold</h3> <p>Jenna puts up a massive and impenetrable block. She has great timing and consistent form. She can get pin to pin quickly. Jenna also is very powerful and has a lethal cut to the left side of the court. She can manufacture kills for her team and is always moving the ball around with her shots. Maeve makes momentum-changing plays and can always be counted on to put the ball in a good spot.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="177423" first="Natalie" last="Ptacek"] – Northern Lights 15-1</h3> <p>Natalie is dynamic and incredibly athletic. She can swing out of the middle and from the right side. Natalie mixes up her shots, from a short tip to a deep seam shot. She is also aggressive at the net as a blocker and on over passes. She makes big kills, has a high reach, and a fast snap on the ball. Liv is an energizer who makes it her mission to stop any balls from coming back to her side of the court. She is a great blocker with a lot of potential to play at a very high level.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="178030" first="Karli" last="Molnau"] – Milwaukee Sting 15 Gold</h3> <p>Karli is a very high-level player who had a huge impact on the high school season for Lake Country Lutheran and now is doing the same during the club season. She is fast and scrappy at the net. Her speed allows her to out pace a lot of opponents. She typically plays all six rotations, has a great serve, and can swing from literally anywhere on the court. Jessica is incredibly athletic and very smart. She can tip short 4 in one play and on the next she will bury it deep into the left corner of the court. She is a fun middle to watch because she is an all around player with huge potential.</p> <h3>Megan McDowell – RVA G15 Navy</h3> <p>Megan is another middle who you need to watch out for once she gets going. She is aggressive at the net and makes huge energizing plays. She also puts up a tough block and is a motivator on her team.
