– 6’4 – Outside Hitter – Willmar – MN Select 17-1 – Committed to Minnesota
Schnichels will take on the 2022 high school season with a lot more pressure as Willmar graduated three terrific big weapons who produced a lot of offense last season to back up Schnichels. Schnichels will still be the primary target on the pin, but she might see an increase in her opportunities that could push her well over the 1,000 career kills mark. She has demonstrated she is a big point scorer with her length and big approach to create a high contact point, along with power and sound mechanics. Schnichels is adaptable with her attack as she can score from either pin and multiple tempos which makes her dangerous. She was a AAA All-State selection, named to the JVA Watchlist, and has committed to play in the Big Ten at University of Minnesota.

– 6’0 – Outside Hitter – Northfield – Northern Lights 17-1 – Committed to Tennessee
Jaynes is one of the best six-rotation athletes in this 2023 Minnesota class. I love how fluid and relaxed she is in her pass to transition movement and her footwork helps her create power in her approach. Jaynes has great arm swing control and can wait and hang for a while before placing the ball wherever she’d like in the open court.
She is really smart in her defensive transition and can make the appropriate offensive call changes as needed depending on the pass. Jaynes has a lot of great experience as a top weapon for Northern Light’s top 17’s team. This will serve her well heading to Tennessee in 2023. Jaynes was a Class AAAA All-State selection and should be one to watch in her final prep year.

– 5’9 – Outside Hitter – Andover – MN Select 17-1 – Committed to Colorado
Bolles was named to the 2022 JVA Watchlist as a big offensive threat from either pin for MN Select 17-1. She is quick and explosive off the ground, as well as creates a lot of torque in the air. Bolles can generate a lot of power to give opposing defenders very little time to react, and she has good vision of the court.
Her court awareness, along with her ability to take an aggressive swing and place it anywhere she’d like, give her a lot of options and make her very unpredictable. Bolles is part of a powerful pin squad including Schnichels, Marlie Hanson Marlie Hanson 5'11" | OH Champlin Park | 2023 State MN , and Olivia Swenson Olivia Swenson 6'3" | OH Wayzata | 2024 State #98 Nation MN . This group really knows how to generate an awe-fense.

– 6’2 – Outside Hitter – Marshall – SWMNVB 17-1
Jones has got some of the best controlled shots and power in this 2022 Minnesota class. At 6’2 she gets a nice high contact point and picks her open spot on the court. Jones was a key component for Marshall in their Class AAA State Championship in 2021. Her work with SWMNVB is continuing to work her away from being just a raw athlete and into quite a refined 6-rotation outside hitter. Jones has been developing strong and quick footwork, as well as an efficient and effective approach in transition.
She still has a way of looking comfortable in the out-of-system and chaos plays, which I find really impressive. Jones is a huge presence at the net and can put pressure on opposing attackers. Her experience and success with Marshall has carried into her club season with SWMVB where they have had big wins at the Pentagon AAU Grand Prix, as well as beating tough teams like Iowa Rockets 17-1, Mizuno M1 171, MN Select 16-1, and Vital Volleyball 17-1 Gold over the past couple months. I would expect her offensive numbers to explode this fall at Marshall.
