Nora Belden Nora Belden 5'7" | DS/L Kirkwood | 2022 State MO – 5’8” – Libero – Kirkwood
A dirty defender reads the hitters exceptionally well and isn’t afraid to sacrifice her body for the dig. She ends a great career with 1339 digs and 121 aces, the primary passer for the last four years. Not sure where she has committed, but some college needs to scoop her up.
Rachel Schipper Rachel Schipper 5'8" | S St. Dominic | 2022 State MO 5’9” – Setter – St. Dominic
I’ve watched Rachel play several matches over the last two years, and I come away impressed each time. She is a great leader, runs a diverse offense, and knows when to send her big guns—a true competitor that ends her high school career with 2292 assists, 599 digs, and 133 kills. Maryville University will be in good hands when Schipper arrives.
Ella Bertram Ella Bertram 5'11" | MB Valle Catholic | 2022 State MO – 6”0” – MB – Valle Catholic
Bertram has guided her team to the final four for the last two years. A significant blocking presence and aggressive middle with excellent footwork and a mean swing. Mineral Area Community college snuck in and got a great middle. She ends her career with 1121 kills and a whopping 374 blocks.
Mia Trankler Mia Trankler 6'0" | MB Jackson | 2022 State MO -6’0″ – MB – Jackson
John A Logan got them a playmaker coming in next year. Jackson has started to come around in volleyball with the new coach in town, and Mia has been in the rotation for the last three years. She finished her career with 614 kills and 268 blocks.
Kennedy Lane Kennedy Lane 5'9" | OH St. Pius X | 2022 State MO – 5’10″ – OH – St. Pius X
Every couple of years, the Lancers have a beast come through the program. Lane is a power hitter with a high volleyball IQ that made her so successful. With the ability to read the hitters and an excellent passer, William Woods has a top-notch six rotation player. Lane would end her high school career with 1137 kills and 574 digs.
Caroline Glastetter Caroline Glastetter 5'10" | OH St. Francis Borgia | 2022 State MO – 5’10” – OH – Borgia
Glastetter’s game over the last two years has developed into a fine ballplayer. She was a primary passer in the two-person serve receive Borgia used. Her ups were fantastic, and she could bounce a ball. She ends her high school career with 745 kills, 108 blocks, and 518 digs. Maryville University has tapped the Saint Louis market, and Glastetter should compete for playing time.
Mercedes Browder – 6’0″ – OH – Parkway Central
Athletic and a dominating presence on the outside for the Colts, Browder was the main offensive threat. A six-rotation player can score at will from the front or back row. Not sure if she has committed to a college, but if not, someone needs to get this kid on their roster immediately! She finished the year with 325 kills and 190 digs.
Kaylie Drysdale Kaylie Drysdale 5'11" | OH Cor Jesu | 2022 State MO – 5’11″ – OH – Cor Jesu
Class 5 state champion Chargers are fortunate to have a talented senior class, and Drysdale was a top dawg on the team. She would hammer home 197 kills and 180 digs and was one of the primary passers. A powerful six rotation outside was a key outlet for out-of-system passes and would score more times than not. George State has a prime outside coming in for next season.
