A look at five Union Kentucky 15 Black defensive specialists to watch follows.

Emma Gutermeth is a freshman defensive specialist/outside hitter from Collins High School. Gutermeth possesses a diverse skill set and can deliver from multiple positions. Comfortable playing along the front row, Gutermeth is a productive hitter from the left side. 

Maggie Hopper is a freshman defensive specialist from South Oldham High School. A player with a solid all-around skill set, Hopper possesses strong ball control skills. Agile, Hopper moves well from side to side. 

Addie Milliner is a sophomore defensive specialist from Whitefield Academy. Milliner regularly produces as a back row hitter. Athletic, Milliner covers the court thoroughly and makes challenging digs. 

Hannah Morrison is a freshman defensive specialist from North Oldham High School. Morrison displays solid defensive skills regularly, producing from her position. Quick, Morrison contributes both digging and passing. 

Natalie Smythe is a sophomore defensive specialist from South Oldham High School. Smythe can contribute from both the back row and the front row. A reliable back row hitter, Smythe digs consistently.
