The 15’s division had a lot of impressive up-and-coming players. Ohio teams set the bar high, taking the top four spots in the 16-team field.
Altogether, here’s a look at the players that made up our All-Tournament Team for the division.
Meredith Hurley Meredith Hurley 5'7" | OH State OH , MH AVC CLE Rox 15 White: Hurley was a real treat to watch play. She was instinctive, aggressive and competed in every aspect. She’s got a natural athleticism that compliments her playing style very well. There’s a very high ceiling for Hurley.
Reese Donahoe Reese Donahoe 5'8" | S Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy | 2025 State OH , S AVC CLE Rox 15 White: Donahoe was an enthusiastic player on the floor for the 15’s champs. She set a really nice ball and put them in great locations for her hitters. Donahoe had the quickness to run the offense at the fast speed the team needed.
Ellie Zoeckler, OH AVC CLE Rox 15 White: Zoeckler just coming through with big finishes time and again, especially in Sunday’s gold bracket. She got more confident with each finish and the team really fed off her play.
Natalie Harrington Natalie Harrington 6'0" | S Newark Catholic | 2026 State OH , S/OPP A2 14 Green: A2 14 Green was perfect prior to falling in the championship, but Harrington shined throughout. She’s long and plays very calm and focused. She’s a force at the net and also sets a great ball for her teammates. Her communication skills are also a strength.
Olivia Curry, MB A2 14 Green: Curry had as much power on her swings as anyone. When she was dialed in, it was likely the end of a point. She also was a consistent defensive force with her blocking to help slow down attacks.
Natalie Vrancken, OH A2 15 Shamrock: Vrancken was a go-to player for the semifinalist and she was always ready to answer the call. Though she didn’t have the length as some of the other hitters, she made up for it with her vertical and technique.
Emma Marielli, L/DS A2 15 Shamrock: Marielli was working very hard in the back row and coming up with some timely and difficult digs for her team. Opponents were avoiding her with the serve because she consistently made a great pass to her setter. Marielli had a pretty strong serve of her own as well.
Kirsten Shaffer, MB ROCKC 15-2: Shaffer was a towering presence for opponents to deal with. She finished a lot of 50-50 balls at the net and also got her hands on a majority of attacks in her way.
Sancia Williams Sancia Williams 5'11" | OH Hawken | 2025 State OH , OH ROCKC 15-2: Williams was a very aware player. She anticipated a lot of plays well and was able to put a real powerful swing on out-of-system balls.
Natalie West, S/OPP TeamD 15-Red: West was in on nearly every play. When she was setting, the offense ran really smooth and she put her teammates in position to succeed. When playing as a hitter, West was aggressive and resilient. She found open lanes in the defense and finished points.
