This featured the best of the best players in the entire country and we were very excited to run it. Over the past 4 years, Prep Dig showcases have hosted over 2,500 prospects in front of hundreds of college coaches from across the country. In addition to watching the showcase in-person or via BallerTV, coverage of this event will be made available to hundreds of our college coach subscribers on PrepDig.com.
We will be discussing some players who stood out as Top Performers at the USA Girls Junior National Championship Pre-Tournament Showcase. This next article is devoted to the pins who were making it rain fire on everyone and dazzling with great ball control in the back row. These young ladies stood out for a multitude of reasons like, physical skill-sets, communication, pursuit of the ball, technique, and/or teamwork. Let’s meet a few of them.
Ella Coleman [2025] 5-11 Outside (Club: Alamo/Verbal: Uncommitted)
We have profiled Miss Coleman a few times already and it is always warranted due to what she produces on the court. She was her usual dominant self through every drill she competed in. I don’t think there is an aspect of this sport that she cannot excel in. She has power for days, shot making ability and very advanced ball control when passing/digging. She is the type of player that can take over a game if someone kept feeding her the ball. She even volunteered for demo drills and that says a lot about her drive and confidence to be the best. She is the type of player any coach would pick in the first round of any draft. Stop by this youngster’s court and you will not be disappointed that you did. Her stock is rising and she will be added to our State Rankings when I update them in a few weeks.
Amaya Tolentino Amaya Tolentino 6'0" | OH Cornerstone Christian | 2025 State TX [2025] 5-11 Right Side/Outside (Club: San Antonio Juniors /Verbal: Uncommitted)
Miss Tolentino has been on my radar since I watched her at the Triple Crown NIT earlier in the year. I loved having her in the gym to watch her compete against some legit players. Even though she arrived a little late due to flight issues, this youngster was bouncing some balls and made a name for herself with our court coaches. Her versatility was on full display from the moment she stepped onto the court during team play. She should have no problem making our Texas State Rankings when I updated them soon. I will be watching her team at nationals and I know she will be putting on a show offensively.
Britton Finley [2025] 6-1 Outside/Right Side (Club: Frisco Flyers/Verbal: Uncommitted)
We talk about power a lot and without a radar gun it is difficult to put into words about the exit velocity of the ball that comes off of the hands of attackers. However, when you are in the gym, you can definitely hear the sound the players hand makes when it hits the ball. Miss Finley is one that made many coaches and spectators turn their heads when she made contact. I stopped in my tracks a few times when I watched during the positional drills. This youngster is making a name for herself and we have officially taken notice. She should have no problem making the rankings for Texas when I update them soon. Our scouts saw in person what I saw when watching her highlight articles. Stay tuned because you will hear her name often for the next few years.
Other standout left and right side attackers that were noted as top performers by the court coaches were: Macie Potter Macie Potter 5'11" | RS McKinney | 2026 State TX , Molly Shafer, Kate Shafer, Jocelyn Ornelas, and Maegan Mills.
