As the #1 recruit coming out of Oregon for the class of 2023, and sitting at #43 nationally, it is no surprise that Gregoire-Salagean is a major player for the OJVA 17-1 team. She burdens a significant amount of the offensive load and is distributed the sets from anywhere on the court. Standing at 6’2” she has an impressive reach on the ball and proves lethal from the pins. I was most impressed with her insane ball control, both on serve receive and defense. Gregoire-Salagean showcased steady play from point one and was critical in the team winning the 18 Open division at ECC.
Player: Kyleene Filimaua Kyleene Filimaua 6'1" | OH North Creek | 2023 State #185 Nation WA
Club: North Pacific Juniors Seattle 17-1 National
Position: OH
Height: 6’1”
High School: North Creek

Filimaua is a six-rotation outside hitter for the NPJ Seattle 17-1 National team. Her play has been critical to the team achieving new heights. A major pick-up for the NPJ club her 16U season last season, having previously played for KJVBC and previously committing to FSU, she has been an impact player since day one. A dual player in both sand and court, her sand game greatly contributes to the success she sees on the court. Her vertical jump is insane, and allows her to elevate while attacking, to absolutely obliterate the ball. Filimaua was a consistent force for the NPJ team from day one at ECC and was a major contributor in the team advancing to the 18 Open finals.
