For this series, we will be spotlighting athletes from teams that finished in the top 20 for the 18U/16U division who were nominated by their club coach, or a club coach from another team.
Without further ado, here are the 2025 attackers that had stellar performances.

Hill is a six-rotation outside hitter for the OJVA 15-1 Gold team. A new addition to the OJVA club, having previously played for PVC, she has made an instant impact. She is a go-to attacker for the team, and for good reason. She has an explosive attack that is deadly in both the front and back row.
Macey Hughes Macey Hughes 6'1" | RS Cornerstone Christian | 2025 State TX , 6’1”, RS, North Pacific Juniors 16-1 National, Santiam Christian High School

Hughes received a nod from an opposing coach for her stellar play for the North Pacific Juniors 16-1 National team. A leftie, the right side is a natural fit. She uses her height and power to obliterate the ball. A terminal attacker, she receives a plethora of sets and is always ready to bang at the ball.
Greta Jane Miller Greta Jane Miller 5'8" | S Corbett | 2025 State OR , 5’8”, S/RS/OH, Corbett High School, Athena Volleyball Academy 15-2 Black

Miller has taken on a variety of different roles this season for the Athena 15-2 Black team. Her coach gave her major props for being consistently great at any position on the court, noting her dynamic athleticism, internal desire to be her best, and quickness to implement changes, which truly sets her apart. Spending most of the season as a setter, she transitioned to a six-rotation outside hitter at Regionals. Miller embraced the change as if she had been in that role all season. Her back-row play was lights out, tying for the highest number of digs at 38 and the second highest serve receive rating. Also, she racked up 12 aces on the weekend and helped keep the opposing teams out of system.
Julia Paulson Julia Paulson 5'8" | OH Jesuit | 2025 State OR , 5’8”, OH, Jesuit High School, Athena Volleyball Academy 15-2 Black

At Regionals, she maintained this role and was a major impact player. Her athleticism and fast arm swing make her an offensive threat from anywhere on the court.
