A look at five 2026 Region 4 defensive players to watch follows.
Emma Bishop is a freshman defensive specialist from Glasgow High School. Bishop possesses solid defensive skills and passing skills. Quick, Bishop covers the court thoroughly and makes digs from her defensive position regularly.
Addi Jo Lanham is a freshman defensive specialist/libero from Franklin-Simpson High School. Lanham was a consistent contributor for her team throughout the 2021 high school volleyball season. Agile, Lanham is quick-reacting and covers the court extensively.
Georgie Tabor is a freshman defensive specialist from Allen County-Scottsville High School. Tabor is a talented freshman who produced throughout her eighth grade season. Athletic, Tabor can provide digs consistently and deliver as a back row hitter.
Julia Warren is another freshman defensive specialist/libero from Franklin-Simpson High School. Warren turns the first touch into a solid pass to the setter regularly. Able to provide accurate sets, Warren has shown solid offensive skills and defensive skills.
