I love the JV Sizzle because it includes a lot of athletes that I may not have seen a lot yet (including incoming freshmen!). Here are some standout athletes from the JV Sizzle!
Kylie Eske – Pewaukee – Libero/DS – Class of 2026
Kylie was so impressive. Not only does she have great court awareness and high-level talent, but she also was a consistently positive force on the court. She looked like she was having a ton of fun with her teammates while simultaneously playing at a high level and impressing with her skills.
Kailani Baldwin – Westosha Central – Libero/DS – Class of 2026
Kailani was another libero that really impressed. She has great instincts on the court and was a huge energizer for her team. Her platform was clean, and she got around a lot of balls. Kailani also was fearless on the court and willing to go for everything.
Brooklyn Lenz Brooklyn Lenz 5'11" | MB Lakeside Lutheran | 2025 State WI – Lakeside Lutheran – Middle – Class of 2025
Brooklyn was another very positive force on her team. She was smiling the entire time yet competed and gave everything she had in every play. She played all six rotations as a middle and was influential on offense and defense and serve receive as well.
Tenly Keuhn – Preble – Outside Hitter – Class of 2026
Tenly has a ton of power. She manufactured points at the Sizzle the entire day. Tenly had an explosive approach and was impactful in every match Preble played. She brought consistency and power to the court.
Samantha Schultz – Oconomowoc – Libero – Class of 2025
Samantha is outgoing and fearless in the back row. She played as a 6-rotation pin during the club season and is incredibly talented on defense and serve receive. Samantha is resilient on the court and was always energetic and consistent for her team.
Grace Borys Grace Borys 5'8" | S Notre Dame | 2025 State WI – Notre Dame Academy – Setter – Class of 2025
Grace has great hands and puts awesome tempo on the ball. She moves around the court quickly and efficiently. She is gritty on the court and was a key player at the JV Sizzle. She also got some reps at the Varsity Sizzle for NDA. She is a player to have on your radar!
Greta Shadewald Greta Shadewald 5'11" | S Sauk Prairie | 2025 State WI – Sauk Prairie – Setter – Class of 2025
Greta plays at a very fast pace. This JV squad for Sauk Prairie dominated during the tournament, and the pace she set was a piece of that success. She seems to be a natural leader on the court, one that leads by example. She has clean hands and great court awareness.
