Continue ReadingIt doesn’t matter what level you play at when you think about the fact that NCAA research shows that only four percent of high school volleyball players play in college. Texas is second to none when it comes to our players earning the right to play at the next level. The offers for our wonderful Texas players keep coming. We love to see the pictures and news of these players as they are achieving their dreams. We are proud to announce some news from the recruiting front. There are three more players who have just committed to college volleyball programs recently and we would like to share the news. These young ladies have been hard at work during the club and high school volleyball season. They also have been hard at work on the recruiting scene getting offers from schools and have made their college decisions. Help us in congratulating them on the amazing news.
Madison Dyer [2022] 5-11 Middle (HS: Marcus/Club: Madfrog /Verbal: Sam Houston State University)
Madison is currently an unranked prospect in the 2022 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She is a solid middle from Flower Mound Marcus High School and also plays club for Madfrog . She is a high-flying middle with a powerful lower body that can do a lot on the court. I love how she truly uses a deep load of her legs to sky above the net. The hang time that she creates helps her stand out amongst players in her position. She has also shown a great ability to be versatile on the court. She is able to go quick in the middle and also able to be a scoring threat from the high tempo left side and right side positions. We are proud to announce that Madison has decided to play college volleyball at Sam Houston State University. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing at the next level.
Grace Luevanos [2022] 5-11 Outside (HS: Leander/Club: Austin Performance/Verbal: Lamar University)
Grace is currently an unranked prospect in the 2022 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She is a fantastic pin from Leander High School and also plays club for Austin Performance. There are a couple of things that I truly love about watching Grace play as an outside. She plays defense like a libero does. Her fast twitch muscles are on full display during deflections and errant digs when she shows such a fast reaction time to the ball. Those cat-like reflexes will help any team she is on as she is able to keep the rally going. The other thing that I love is how much fire she plays the game with. Her celebrations incite a riot with her teammates that correlate into huge momentum swings for her squad. Any team would benefit from a player like her. It is very apparent when she unleashes her cannon on her opponents. We are proud to announce that she recently committed to playing volleyball at Lamar University. Please help us congratulate Miss Luevanos on achieving her dream of playing college volleyball.
Reagan Whatley [2022] 5-11 Defensive Specialist/Outside (HS: The Woodlands/Club: Woodlands Revolution/Verbal: Trinity University)
Miss Whatley is currently an unranked prospect in the 2022 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She is a fantastic outside from The Woodlands High School and club volleyball at Woodlands Revolution. Reagan can seriously do it all on the court. She is a true six-rotation outside hitter who has elite ball control in serve receive and defense. She is very fast on the court during transition and is always ready to attack the ball. And when she attacks the ball, she brings the thunder with her right arm. Her overall play earned her a place on the GHVCA Post Season team for 6A. We are proud to announce that she has committed to playing volleyball at Trinity University. Please help us congratulate her on realizing her dream of playing at the next level.
