2022 Miss Volleyball Finalists Announced

The Yale commit put up 100 blocks a year ago with over 270 kills. She's made Country Day one of the most explosive teams in Division 2 for recent seasons.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='66309' first='Nina' last='Horning'], Lake Orion OH</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Horning is a four-year lead hitter for the Dragons. The 6'4” Cincinnati commit has put up over 1,350 kills in her career while improving her defensive play with each year. Horning as all the swings and speeds to excel at the next level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='66314' first='Kennedy' last='Louisell'], GR Forest Hills Northern OH</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The outside hitter for FHN really exploded in 2021 with nearly 600 kills while helping Huskies elevate themselves in a talent-heavy Grand Rapids area. Louisell is explosive as they come and has amassed over 1,380 kills in her prep career.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='108718' first='Erin' last='Madigan'], Dakota S</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A 6'2” setter, Madigan has Dakota as one of the top teams in Division 1 in recent years. Last season, Madigan put up nearly 900 assists while amassing over 100 kills and leading the Cougars to the state semifinals.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='152528' first='Ella' last='McAllister'], Marshall L</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>McAllister has been the defensive rock for Marshall in her career, guiding the program to three district championships. Last season, McAllister put up over 450 digs, as she continues to add to an impressive career number.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='66319' first='Harper' last='Murray'], Skyline OH</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Murray has earned the No. 1 ranking in Prep Dig's Class of 2023 national rankings. Aside from her success at the national and junior Olympic level, the Nebraska commit has helped lead Skyline to two Battle Creek appearances in her prep career. She is approaching 2,000 kills for her 4-year run at Skyline, while already having over 1,100 digs and 300 aces.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='66325' first='Abigail' last='Reck'], Northville OH/MH</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Reck has been a dominant force at the net for the Mustangs throughout her prep career. Last season as a primary outside hitter, the Northeastern put up nearly 500 kills while adding a lot of wrinkles to her defensive play. Though her blocking wasn't a big part of her game last season, she's shown a dominant blocking game at the club level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='66328' first='Ava' last='Sarafa'], Marian S</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Marian has won back-to-back state titles with Sarafa leading the offense. The Kentucky commit is able to run a very fast offense while mixing in her own offensive attacks as well. Sarafa is just shy of 4,000 career assists, a mark only 11 other prep players have achieved in MHSAA history. She also has over 750 digs and over 200 kills.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='66330' first='Ella' last='Schomer'], Marian OH</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Marian has two finalists for the second consecutive year. Schomer has been a steady outside for the Mustangs, but now takes on more of a leadership role as a senior. The two-time state champion and Wofford commit is approaching 600 career kills and 600 career digs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='66340' first='Sarah' last='Vellucci'], Novi OH/DS</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Vellucci is arguably one of the top defensive players in the nation, but Novi has needed her more as an outside hitter. The Long Beach State commit helped the Wildcats to the Division 1 semifinals in 2021. She is approaching 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs over her prep career, while also adding over 150 aces.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
