Elite Revolution went 3-0, which has it tied with Northern Lights 151 and Dynasty 141 Black in Pool 1 of 15 Open.
Also in Pool 1, Nebraska Juniors 151 is off to a 2-1 start after the first day – as is Club Legacy 15 ROX in Pool 2. Also in Pool 2 VCNebraska 15 Elite currently sits at 1-2 while Premier 15 Black is 0-3.
Pool play continues through Monday morning, with the top two teams in each pool advancing to the championship bracket.
Elite Revolution sandwiched a three-set win over Nebraska Juniors 151 between a pair of blowouts on Saturday. Elite Revolution held on to take a 25-15, 20-25, 15-9 win over Nebraska Juniors. Elite Revolution started the day with a 25-10, 25-17 victory over IPVA 15 Black and finished it with a 25-8, 25-16 win over CIA Black.
Nebraska Juniors 151 started its day with a gutsy 23-25, 28-26, 15-9 win over Ozarks Juniors 151 and then rebounded from its loss to Elite Revolution with a 25-18, 26-24 win over IPVA 15 Black.
Over in Pool 2, Club Legacy 15 ROX went 2-1, which is even more impressive when you consider its three matches today came against the top three seeds in its pool. Legacy 15 ROX started the day with a 25-19, 24-26, 15-11 win over Premier 15 Black before suffering a 25-18, 25-11 loss to Dynasty 15 Black. ROX then bounced back for a real nice 25-22, 18-25, 15-12 win over Colorado Juniors 15 Kirk.
VCNebraska 15 Elite got its lone win of the day in a 25-17, 29-27 win over Premier 15 Black.
