Nebraska put four teams into the championship quarterfinals in the 15U division of the JVA Midwest Challenge in Des Moines over the weekend, but was unable to get anyone all the way to the championship.

Milwaukee Sting 15 White, the eventual champion, was the biggest thorn in the side of Nebraska teams, knocking off Nebraska Juniors 151 25-23, 22-25, 15-11 in the quarterfinals and rallying past VCNebraska 15 Black 22-25, 25-19, 15-12 in the semifinals.

VCNebraska 15 Black's finish - tied for third - was the best showing by a Nebraska team in the division. Nebraska Juniors 151 tied for fifth, as did both Nebraska Elite 15 Chaos and Nebraska Elite 14 Havoc. Chaos fell to Adrenaline 15 ROX of Iowa in the quarterfinals while Havoc was downed by VCNebraska.

River City Juniors 15 Navy also made the championship bracket, finishing in a tie for ninth place.

VCNebraska 15 Blue tied for 12th place while VCNebraska 15 White tied for 19th place. River City Juniors 15 Red finished 24th and TeamMagic 151 Thunder finished 25th.
