One of the best senior volleyball players in the state has found a college home as Omaha Marian and Nebraska Elite back-row specialist Sophia Moes committed to Rockhurst University this week.

Moes has been one of the top back-row players in the state for the past three seasons, registering more than 200 digs in each of those years for the Crusaders, She finished her Marian career with 665 digs (2.9 per set), 749 serve receptions and 82 ace serves.

She will be joining a Rockhurst program that went 32-7 last season and reached the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional finals. Fromer Papillion-LaVista standout setter Dani Prusha and former Skutt Catholic standout pin hitter Alyssa Woodman play for Rockhurst.
