She hit an amazing .349%, with 28 kills, 6 errors and 63 attempts. Brook is a next-level player. Watching her and her teammates’ play was like watching a college match.
Izzy Decker, 2021, OH, Nazareth
The junior outside hitter came to play at STates bringing her “A” game. Izzy’s effort and ability to better the ball have been important to this team this year.
Isabel Schaefbauer, 2020, S/RS, U-High.
In the third-place match, Isabel added 13.5 points to U-High’s total in the loss. Also a talented setter, she had 8 assists in the match, 19 total for the weekend.
Kathryn Hurta, 2022, S/OH, Nazareth,
A lot of pressure has been put on the sophomore but she has responded, admirably. She has been asked to play setter, right side, and outside hitter and has come through as one of the most versatile sophomores in the state.
Bree Borum, 2021, S/RS, Sterling,
Not just a defensive threat and a setting superstar, but she added 18.5 points on their way to a state title.
Grace Egan, 2023, OH, Sterling,
With the Borum sisters, you can get overlooked but not forgotten. Grace is an athletic freshman and can put the ball. Definitely a threat to any team that faces her the next three years!
