DeBeer, a six-foot outside hitter, starred for Assumption and KIVA. She was an AAU Junior National Volleyball Championship All-American in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 and a member of the Ultra-Ankle JVA All National Team in 2017, 2018, and 2019. DeBeer helped to lead her club team to the USA Today National Champions in 2017 and 2018 and National Championships in Prep Volleyball Max Preps in 2018. In high school, DeBeer helped to lead Assumption to KHSAA state titles in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
DeBeer’s individual honors include being named Durango Fall Classic MVP in 2017 and an All-Durango Tournament selection in 2018 and 2019. An Asics Challenge All-Tournament Team selection in 2019, DeBeer was named to the All-USA Preseason High School Volleyball Team and the Max Preps Preseason High School Volleyball All-American Team prior to the 2019 high school volleyball season. A Max Preps/AVCA Kentucky Player of the Week in 2019, DeBeer was ranked No. 19 in the Class of 2020 Prep Volleyball Top Senior Aces. She was named to the All-7th Region Tournament Team in 2017, 2018 and 2019. DeBeer was named the 7th Region Player of the Year at the conclusion of the 2019 season. The Louisville commit made KVCA First Team All-State in 2017 and 2018 and the All-KHSAA Volleyball State Tournament Team in both 2018 and 2019. Earlier in the year, DeBeer was the KHSAA Volleyball State Tournament MVP and an Under Armour All-America First Team selection
Along with DeBeer, Louisville’s recruiting class includes Ayden Bartlett (5-6, libero/defensive specialist, Leavenworth, Kan.), Phekran Kong (6-3, middle blocker, Sioux Falls, S.D.), Brooke Smith (6-1, outside hitter, Leo, Ind.) and Ceci Rush (5-9, libero/defensive specialist, New Albany, Ind.).
