Here are stars that their high school play may affect their prep dig standing as the rankings are about to roll over and update.
#7 Camryn Hannah, 2020, 6’0, S/RS, Marist,
Adversity
, Clemson
A multi-talented player, Camryn will bring her skills to Clemson and also helps
Adversity
search for a national title in 2020.
#18 Rachel Musienga, 2021, 6’1, S, Benet,
Adversity
VBC, Penn State
Easily one of the top setters in the state, Rachel can set the ball from anywhere on the court. In the IHSA State Championships, Rachel had a match-high 3 service aces, added 4 kills, 5 digs, and 4 block assists in the win. Looking to take her skills to PSU in 2022, the Nittany Lions could have themselves a four-year starter.
#12, Taylor Jakubowski, 2020, S, Huntley, Sky High VBC, Seton Hall
In an early tournament match, hitters went right after her, defensively. A tip to Taylor, she picks it up. HIt deep at Taylor, she nails the pass. The bench was going crazy! She is athletically sound and plays with that Senior Swagger! She’s also the Prepdig.com top setter in her class.
Taylor Landfair, 2020, – 6’4, OH, Plainfield Central, Minnesota
The tall outside hitter headed to Minnesota could easily be the best kill-getter in the State. She is listed as Prepdig.com’s #1 recruit in the class of 2020. She is both a hitting and a blocking machine! As a back-row player, Taylor holds it together, but that is the area of her game that could be stronger.
Brook Borum, 2021, 6’1, OH, Sterling, Sports Performance
Hitting a .394%, Brook had 16 kills and 4 assists to go along with 6 digs for the Golden Warriors in the state championships.
