The club season is here. Minnesota has traditionally been well represented on the national stage and this year should be no different. Here are three of the state’s top U18 teams that could make a big splash on the national qualifying circuit over the next few months.

This team is loaded with talent and features several top athletes in Prep Dig’s 2020 rankings. Elizabeth HelmichElizabethHelmich6'1" | MBWayzata | 2020StateMN, Olivia JohnsonOliviaJohnson5'10" | SWayzata | 2020StateMN, and Lily EmlongLilyEmlong6'2" | OHWayzata | 2020StateMN were all significant contributors to Wayzata’s recent class AAA state championship run. Helmich hammers from the right side while Emlong is very productive from the middle. Johnson will provide the distribution with a big advantage in knowing these two prolific attackers very well. Halle Olson, from River Falls, is long, athletic, and very fluid with her approach work and ability to swing through all areas of the court. She will be a huge factor on the left pin.
