Although playing at McCormick Place this weekend is a USAV Boys qualifier, it's the first year of girls participating at the event. For divisions: Girl's will play in the following divisions: 18 Open, 18 USA, 18 American, and 16/15. Teams have traveled not only from the Great Lakes Region but from Indiana, Minnesota, Wisconsin and other states (regions) will be here in Chicago!

You can look at the net and on the end line for players to make big plays in this tournament. Here are the big middles and the quick liberos to watch this MLK Weekend.

First Alliance 18 - Silver

Journey Barsh, 5'10, MH, Homewood-Flossmoor,

This will be a good test for Journey and First Alliance, as they will face teams from Michigan, Minnesota, and Ohio in their pool. Quickness in transition and being able to block the big middles will be key.

Adversity - 18 Adidas

Sarah Griffith, 2020, 6'1, MH/RS, Jones Prep

Coming off a disappointing season at Jones Prep, it will be fun to watch Sarah play with the bigs of the Adversir=ty Adidas Team.  Look for teams from Indiana, Wisconsin, and California to attempt to stop Adversity from winning the pool.
