Among the state’s most underrated volleyball players, Davis led Paul Laurence Dunbar High School throughout the 2019 prep season. A productive performer, Davis ranked in the top-five on her team for kills, blocks and aces during the 2019 high school campaign.
With Davis among the leaders, Paul Laurence Dunbar won the 43rd District championship and finished runner-up in the 11th Region. Rival Henry Clay outlasted Paul Laurence Dunbar 3-1 (25-17, 22-25, 25-23, 25-20) in the 2019 11th Region title match.
Davis is poised to join a tradition-rich college volleyball program. Centre competes with Birmingham Southern, Berry, Hendrix, Sewanee, Millsaps, Rhodes and Oglethorpe in the storied Southern Athletic Association (SAA). The Colonels concluded the 2019 season 7-18 overall and 4-10 in the SAA.
Currently, Davis is competing for PNK Volleyball in the 2020 club season.
