Some of the state’s top freshmen high school volleyball players are 15-year-olds competing in the 2020 club season.
Here are 10 Lexington 15s to watch.
Nelaney Bivins: A 5-5 freshman libero/defensive specialist, Bivins is a student-athlete from Lafayette High School. Bivins is competing for Lexington United 15 Adidas.
Nyla Gaines: A 5-9 freshman outside hitter/right side, Gaines is a student-athlete from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School. Gaines is competing for Lexington United 15 Adidas.
Sara Gdovka: A six foot freshman middle hitter, Gdovka is a student-athlete from West Jessamine High School. Gdovka is competing for Lexington United 15 Adidas.
Brooke Hager: A 6-2 freshman middle hitter, Hager is another student-athlete from West Jessamine High School. Hager is competing for Lexington United 15 Adidas.
Peyton Hollon: A 5-5 freshman libero, Hollon is a student-athlete from Frederick Douglass High School. Hollon is competing for Lexington United 15 Adidas.
