Numerous 17-year-olds from Indiana are looking to take the floor at the next level for a college program in 2021.
Annually, several student-athletes from Indiana compete for various club volleyball squads that play out of Louisville.
Here are five uncommitted Indiana 17s on Kentucky teams in the 2020 club season.
Lauren Brammeier: A 5-8 junior outside hitter, Brammeier is a student-athlete from Tecumseh High School. Continuing to improve her stock prior to the start of a senior campaign in high school, Brammeier is competing for KIVA 17 White in the 2020 club volleyball season.
Kayden Holcomb Kayden Holcomb 5'10" | MB Floyd Central | 2021 State IN : A 5-10 junior middle blocker/opposite hitter, Holcomb is a student-athlete from Floyd Central High School. Versatile, Holcomb is comfortable playing middle blocker or opposite hitter and has shown the ability to produce from either position throughout her volleyball career. Holcomb is competing for Union Asics 17-1.
Bree Martin: A 5-7 junior defensive specialist, Martin is a student-athlete from New Albany High School. A defensive standout who excelled during her junior season in 2019, Martin is an excellent digger who carried momentum over into the 2020 club campaign. Martin is competing for KIVA 17 Red.
Kyra Sharp: A 5-11 junior outside hitter, Sharp is a student-athlete from Floyd Central High School. An underrated high school volleyball player, Sharp is a skilled passer and an accurate hitter that delivers consistently. Sharp is competing for KIVA 17 White.
Lijia Williams: A six-foot junior middle blocker, Williams is a student-athlete from Rock Creek Academy. With stellar leaping ability, Williams is able to get up above the net and record blocks frequently. An athletic middle blocker, Williams covers the floor extremely well. Williams is competing for Union Asics 17-1.
