Prior to taking the floor for freshman seasons, Louisville eighth graders have an opportunity to prepare over the spring and summer.
Here are five versatile Louisville eighth graders.
Camila Adams: A 5-8 eighth grade opposite hitter/defensive specialist, Adams is a student-athlete from St. John Paul II Academy. Among the most versatile eighth grader volleyball players in Louisville, Adams has developed the offensive and defensive skills to allow her to progress early in her high school career. An athletic eighth grader, Adams covers the floor well and is a solid hitter and digger. Adams is competing for Union Asics 14-1.
Ally Magre: A 5-5 eighth grade defensive specialist/outside hitter, Magre is a student-athlete from St. Patrick Catholic School. A strong server who communicates well, Magre has shown consistency as a defensive specialist while chipping in as an outside hitter. The productive Magre provides quality passes regularly. Magre is competing for Union Asics 14-1.
Charlotte Moriarty: A 5-10 eighth grade outside hitter/setter, Moriarity is a student-athlete from Christian Education School. In addition to thriving as a hitter, Moriarity is a solid blocker at the net and also boasts the skills to be a stellar setter. The diverse Moriarity is a consistent passer as well. Moriarity is competing for KIVA 14 Red.
Adyson Mudd: A 5-7 eighth grade outside hitter/defensive specialist, Mudd is a student-athlete from St. Raphael School. Able to contribute as an outside hitter or defensive specialist, Mudd excels in multiple areas, including passing. Mudd is competing for KIVA 14 Black.
Makenzie Wagner: A 5-9 eighth grade setter/opposite hitter, Wagner is a student-athlete from Saint Mary Academy. Among the most promising young setters in Louisville, Wagner has shown leadership with her ability to direct an offense. Wagner is competing for Union Asics 14-1.
