Sky Moffitt Sky Moffitt 6'2" | MB Lafayette Jefferson | 2022 State IN , 6-1, MB, Circle City 16 Purple (16-1), Lafayette Jefferson High School
Sky, for lack of a better term, skies. Jumps well, fast in front of and behind the setter, and can slow down and/or finish any opponent. She’s trained by one of the best in the state, Circle City club director Scott McQueen, and has already won a couple of early-season tournaments for the flagship 16s team at CC. It won’t be long before she’s scooped up.
Eva Hudson Eva Hudson 6'1" | OH Bishop Dwenger | 2022 State #110 Nation IN , 5-10, OH, Munciana 16 Ninjas (16-1), Bishop Dwenger High School
A terminal outside, Eva can play six rotations and do everything in both the front and back rows. She’s terminal as well—-a trait recently learned over the past year. Also trained by one of the better ones in Indiana, club coach Randy Gardner, she will consistently compete for state championships in high school as well as tournament and national championships in club, as Munciana plays whomever, wherever and whenever the best competition might be.
Emma McMahon Emma McMahon 5'5" | DS/L Bellmont | 2022 State IN , 5-5, DS, Munciana 16 Ninjas (16-1), Bellmont High School
A nails passer for any team she’s on, Miss McMahon is as relentless as relentless as they come for both her state-championship-level high school team as well as arguably the best 16s team in Indiana. Located just southeast of Fort Wayne, Emma runs the show in the back row, and comes from a winning lineage in both the fall and the spring. It won’t be long before she’s committed.
Tori Woods Tori Woods 6'0" | OH West Lafayette | 2022 State IN , 6-0, OH/RS, Circle City 16 Purple (16-1), West Lafayette High School
Another Lafayette kid on this list, Tori is a thumper of a pin attacker, but can play middle as well. Her ability to play any front row position makes her very valuable, and her ball control makes it very difficult to take her off of the floor. Winning both the Bluegrass and President’s Day (StL) tournaments early on this club season couple with her sectional championship and state quarterfinal appearance in high school make her a natural winner. Keep in mind that she led WL in both kills and digs this past fall. As a sophomore.
Kelsey Smith Kelsey Smith 6'0" | S Hamilton Heights | 2022 State IN , 6-0, S, Grand Park 16 Pegasus (16-1), Hamilton Heights High School
Kelsey is a late appearance and is on the rise in our ’22 rankings, mostly because she’s from a high school that is not traditionally a volleyball power AND she plays for what’s considered to be a regional program. For her club team, she’s the show. Sets in the back, and can get any ball and set any tempo. Attacks in the front, and her attack touch is slowly creeping up to 10 feet. In the void of Indiana between Noblesville and Kokomo, Kelsey is a player that cannot be overlooked if you need an attacking setter who’s smooth athleticism will only improve with time.
