Kendall Boone – MH – Lee’s Summit High School
Lee’s Summit gained a few more wins in 2019 and Boone played a major role. As a junior, she played in every set for the Tigers and would finish second on the team with 200 Kills. She was also impressive defensively adding 320 digs and 37 total blocks on the season.
Morgan Sanders – S – Lee’s Summit High School
Three hitters had 200 or more kills for Lee’s Summit last fall. One of the key reasons: Morgan Sanders. The setter dished out 664 assist in her junior season. She also showcased her ability in the back-row, digging out 255 balls. Look for her to have another impactful year in the fall.
Daly Rosenbloom – OH – Oak Park High School
Rosenbloom was a bright spot for the Northmen in the 2019 season. On a young team with two seniors, the junior outside hitter had 98 kills and 158 digs. With a season of varsity play under her belt you should see increased numbers from her in 2020.
Abigail Day – OH – Park Hill South High School
Day may not be the flashiest player but she gets things done. The three-year starter will again contribute in her final season for the Panthers. Her junior campaign saw 117 kills and 285 digs. Her kill numbers should increase this fall after South graduates their 2019 kill leader.
Arley Anderson – S – Park Hill South High School
Another three-year starter, Anderson is the engine that makes the machine run. This fall she looks to go over the 2000 career assist mark after handing out 673 last year. The setter also proved valuable defensively adding 280 digs.
Helena Eubanks – OH – Staley High School
In her first season of major varsity time, Eubanks gives the Falcons great optimism for the upcoming season. The junior would finish the year with 190 kills and 168 digs. Expect even bigger numbers for the outside hitter in 2020.
Jada Davis – MH – Staley High School
Davis is currently known as a dominant defender in the Kansas City area. Her ability to get touches and blocks are above average. Last season you could see her gain confidence in her offensive abilities. You should see more growth this fall after she contributed 82 kills a season ago. She also chipped in 64 blocks.
