Mikayla Christiansen Mikayla Christiansen 6'0" | RS Fishers | 2021 State IN , 6-0, RS/MB, Munciana 17 Pandas, Fishers High School
Already jumping close to ten feet, Mikayla can play multiple positions and attack at multiple tempi. She can also defend all areas along the net just as well. From a family with an older sister who played at Cedarville (D2) and an older brother who currently plays at Indiana Tech (NAIA), she has a bloodline filled with gym rats. I look forward to next fall and how her high school coach, Steven Peek, might use her.
Macarty McQueen Macarty McQueen 5'10" | OH Carmel | 2022 State IN , 5-10, OH, Munciana 16 Ninjas, Carmel High School
A springy pin attacker, she’s already got multiple tournament titles under her belt in club from Munciana. In her first season on Carmel’s varsity, she more than held her own, and uses her whip of an arm to put even the worst of sets away. Reliable, no-nonsense and terminating—not too many of those types of outsides in this class from Indiana.
Mallory Dills Mallory Dills 5'9" | S Cathedral | 2023 State IN , 5-9, S, Munciana 15 Quora, Cathedral High School
Already a varsity-level starter in high school, Mallory runs arguably the best offense in the state of Indiana at Munciana’s 15-1. Her location is always hittable, and always has enough in the tank to play defense—a trait not normally seen in setters in the state, let alone her age group. It won’t be long before Mallory is seen as a floor leader at the next level.
Maddie Siegel Maddie Siegel 5'11" | OH Brebeuf | 2022 State IN , 5-11, OH, Team Indiana Elite 16, Brebeuf Jesuit High School
Aggressive to the last. A terminator on both pins, but primarily an outside, Maddie goes fast and hits hard. Too many time, we see the “control” outsides here in Indiana; not necessarily terminators, but careful enough to make no errors. Maddie is NOT that kid. She goes, and goes, and goes. There is no quit in this kid, and she brings it in her emotion just as much as her play.
Mayah Schundelmier Mayah Schundelmier 5'9" | MB Greenwood Christian Academy | 2021 State IN , 5-9, MB, Circle City 17 Black, Greenwood Christian School
Far and away the smallest high school on this list, Mayah is THE athlete on the smallest competitive high school team in the state. Don’t let her size fool you—her basketball background may have gotten her to the volley party late, but she makes up for it by being faster and jumping higher than her competition. Her high school coach, Tasha Vessely, is a former player at IUPUI, and is in good hands at Circle to continue that progression.
