Graduating Seniors:
Jayden Achenbach
Jayden will go on to play college volleyball at Iowa Central in the fall of 2020. She was the leading right-side hitter for her high school team last fall with 2.63 KPS, .845 serve efficiency with 44 aces, 1.89 DPS, and 22 total blocks. She played in 90 of 103 sets for Riverside in 2019.
Abi Petersen
Abi played in all 103 sets last season for Riverside. She had 1.46 KPS, 2 aces, .58 DPS, and 2 blocks.
Gracie Bluml
Gracie played in all 103 sets last season. She had .856 serve efficiency with 38 aces, 4.13 DPS. She will be attending Iowa Central next year playing softball.
Ashlynn Amdor
Ashlynn played in 100 of 103 sets last fall for the Bulldogs. She had .908 serve efficiency with 37 aces and 1.70 DPS. She will be attending Iowa Western playing softball in 2020.
Returning Juniors:
Ella Hensley
Ella is an outstanding middle with the smarts to be really effective for the Bulldogs next fall. She played in all 103 sets for Riverside last season. She had 1.30 KPS, .870 serve efficiency with 8 aces, .29 DPS, and 36 total blocks.
Kenna Ford
Kenna played in all the sets played by the Bulldogs in 2019. She had .72 KPS, .889 serve efficiency with 41 aces, 7.00 APS, 2.03 DPS, and 21 total blocks.
Ari McGlade
Ari played in 77 of 103 sets last season. She had .926 serve efficiency with 19 aces and 1.43 DPS.
Kya Hackett
Kya played in 3 sets last fall and will be able to step it up to fill some of the positions left on the court by the graduating seniors next fall.
Returning Sophomores:
Izzy Bluml
Izzy played in every set played by the Bulldogs last season and I am sure she is about to have a breakout season in 2020. During her sophomore season, she had 2.06 KPS, .837 serve efficiency and 41 aces, 1.42 DPS, and 5 blocks.
Returning Freshman:
Veronica Andrusyshyn
Veronica played in 61 of 103 sets for the Bulldogs last fall. She had 1.25 KPS, .844 serve efficiency with 9 aces, and 14 blocks. I look to see her develop over the winter and summer and come into the fall ready to step it up.
Mack Olmstead-Mitchell
Mack played in 57 of 103 sets last fall. She had .89 KPS, .21 DPS, and 4 blocks for her freshman showing. I look for more development and stability during her sophomore season.
Madi Baldwin
Madi played in 39 of 103 sets last fall for the Bulldogs. She had .907 serve efficiency with 3 aces and 1.03 DPS.
It is so exciting when the new class gets onto the court for the first time. I cannot wait to see what this group of freshman looks like next fall. The forecast is for development, stability, and tremendous amounts of growth.
