Juniors are poised to be leaders for volleyball teams throughout the 1st Region during the upcoming season. 

Here are five 1st Region juniors to watch. 

Audrey DowdyAudreyDowdySGraves County | 2022StateKY: An outside hitter, Dowdy is a student-athlete from Graves County. Dowdy led Graves County to the 3rd District championship and a 1st Region runner-up finish in 2019. Agile, Dowdy recorded 539 kills, 33 blocks, 30 assists, 411 digs and 45 service aces in 38 matches for the Eagles during the 2019 high school volleyball season. Dowdy adjusts well to sets coming from any location. 

Adison Hicks: A right side/setter, Hicks is a student-athlete from Calloway County. Leading Calloway County throughout the 2019 prep volleyball season, Hicks posted a team-high 200-plus kills for the Lakers while ranking second on the squad in both assists and service aces. Versatile, Hicks digs for quick attacks regularly and is a vocal leader.

Halle Langhi: An outside hitter/defensive specialist, Langhi is a student-athlete from Marshall County. Among the leaders for Marshall County during the 2019 high school volleyball season, Langhi posted 260 kills, 71 blocks, 93 digs and 54 service aces. A go-hitter, Langhi reads opposing defenses accurately.
