Outside hitters are the bread and butter of a volleyball team. They have to be well-rounded and have an extra amount of versatility. Pin hitters come on the team to rack up as many blocks and kills possible. Many times these outside hitters play a full 6 rotation game. They must be able to swing high and hard on out of system plays. These young ladies below have demonstrated that they play with height and heat on the net.

Demps is an impressive outside that plays for arguably Florida’s best high school volleyball team. She was the leading hitter that allowed Leon to take home the 6A state championship trophy. She has accumulated 436 kills at an efficient .268. She is able to use multiple shots to keep her opponent guessing. Her vertical jump reaches altitudes high above the net. Demps attacks the ball at such a high point of contact, she is difficult to contain. She also chips in with her back row skills too. She has dug 237 balls and counting for Leon. Her ball control and back row attack have proven to be effective time
