Mary Clare Brusek, 5’10, MB, Marist, Michio VBC
Also a member of the Michio Volleyball Club, Brusek solidifies the block for Marist in the middle. Look for Marist to be more of a middle first offense next season as they add more offensive attacks to Brusek’s already solid blocking.

Crystal will be one of the players to watch for Romeoville down the road as we head into the 2020-21 volleyball season. She gets the better of the middle with less height. In the future, she should be able to outmuscle those her height and taller.
Megan Langdon, 2022, MH, Crystal Lake South
Langdon also plays soccer at CLS, but she has the potential to be a solid all-around middle. She has speed, mobility and she has an innate sense of where the hole in the block is.
Emma Schroeder Emma Schroeder DS/L Hononegah | 2022 State IL , 2022, 6’2, MH, Hononegah
A tall block and a solid swing, Schroeder has her work cut out for her as there are high expectations of this Hononegah team. She may not get the ball the most often but will take advantage of the sets she sees. A very big block in the middle who will hold the team together at the net.
Ann Marie Remmes Ann Marie Remmes 6'2" | MB Benet | 2022 State #154 Nation IL , MB, Benet Academy, Adversity VBC
During the 2018 campaign, Ann Marie totaled 45 kills and 43 blocks on the IHSA 4A third-place Benet Academy team. In 2019, she tallied over 100 kills, as the team went on to win states. She will be key to their success in 2020 if they want to return to states.
