Division I (co-POY)
Mia Pantalone – Howland | 2021
The 5’11 middle was effective for the Tigers on both sides of the ball. Offensively, she averaged nearly three kills per set with a .394 attack percentage and terminating over 52% of her attempts. On the defensive side she had great net presence in averaging three blocks per match. She has shown good development, which is evident in her increasingly fluid footwork patterns, quick elevation, and ability to swing aggressively through a variety of attack points around the setter.

At 6’0, Householder was the Cardinals’ primary attacker with over 900 attempts on the season. She fulfilled her role well with a 4.6 kills per set average. She also led the team in total service aces and in picking up 13.5 digs per match. She builds momentum well and through a variety of attack points has good arm control in the air to move the ball around with range and pace. She has good six-rotation skills as she can pass well and fills good space above the net when blocking.
Division II
Brooke Talbot – Beaver | 2022
Beaver had a great season led by Talbot and her well-rounded skill set. At 5’10 she can play six-rotations effectively in both the serve recieve and attacking phases. With good competitive effort and command for the ball has good platform skils and gets her feet to the ball well that leads to good lift and power in the air. She averaged nearly three kills per set and 10 digs per match while also sharing setting duties.
Division III
Lucy Montgomery – Crestview | 2022
A dynamic athlete, Montgomery did a bit of everything for her team this year. She helped lead the Rebels to an undefeated conference season as she totaled 300+ kills, 300+ assists, and 200+ digs. No stranger to the triple-double, the 5’8 junior averaged 3.8 kills and nearly 10 digs per set while sharing setting duties and earning points at the service line with over 50 aces on the season.
Division IV
Katelyn Lesko – Mineral Ridge | 2021
The 5’6 senior was an offensive force for the Rams helping to guide them to an undefeated conference season. She is a good athlete and maximizes her jump and contact point to swing aggressively. As a primary attacker for her high school team, Lesko has been an effective setter for her club team, which exemplifies her well-rounded skill set.
