In spite of her 5’5 frame, Hay covers a lot of court. She has good court sense and uses her great quickness to chase down balls in all directions. She has good vision and reaction in serve receive and does not waste much movement to pursue the ball to put her team’s offense in system. She is a spark plug with her big play mentality and earned DII all-Ohio honorable mention honors as she averaged over 22 digs per match.
Carly Pry – 5’5 | New Philadelphia
The Division I all-Ohio honorable mention honoree shows great preparation as she reads opposing servers and attackers well to make the right read. Her platform skills are quick and efficient and she has an expectation to have to make a play. She averaged nearly 21 digs per match for the Quakers while also leading them in total service aces with 53 on the season.
Kennedy Roshong – 5’9 | Archbishop Alter
At 5’9, Roshong has good length for the libero position. She also has good athleticism and a mindset to make big plays for her team regardless of what it takes to keep the ball off the floor. She has good platform development and can also extend effectively with one or two arms to increase her range depending on what the play needs. A DII all-Ohio selection, she led her team with over 15 digs per match.
Cassidy Sims – 5’3 | Wooster
Sims had a terrific senior season, earning DI all-Ohio honorable mention honors. She averaged over 21 digs per match as she has great first-step reaction to make big plays in all directions. Her composure around the floor provides a lot of stability given the trust in her ability to cover good range. She also was a big contributor from the service line as she has great touch and placement in her jump float as she led her team with 57 aces on the season.
Amanda Troyer – 5’4 | Hiland
Troyer is efficient with her movement to pursue the ball and establishes a solid platform and shows good understanding of angle development. Defensively she shows good first-step reaction while maintaing angles well in pursuit of the ball in all directions. She averaged over 17 digs per match while also serving up 53 aces on the season. She was a Division III all-Ohio honorable mention selection for 2020.
