On October 29th, she led her team to a 3-2 win over a solid Tracy Millroy team with 21 kills. Her kill percentage is what sets her apart. In that match she had a 36%, which is actually lower than her average. She doesn’t just keep the ball in play, she puts it away.
Zayda Priebe Zayda Priebe 6'2" | MB Chatfield | 2022 State MN (cover photo) – The 6’2’’ junior in the Three Rivers Conference has been instrumental in helping the Chatfield Gophers climb to the top of the conference. Her game high was against rival, St Charles. Priebe had an incredible 21 kills in their four set victory. She hit 0.255 on the night and added 4 blocks but her season average is closer to .350 . Her power, strength and size is unmatched by others in single A.
Lily Wachholz – This Mayer Lutheran junior hitter has been on our rankings list for the last few seasons. Again, we see her dominating the Minnesota River Conference. In fact, she tallied 20 kills in back to back matches. When they played Norwood Young America, she hit 0.500 racking up her 20 kills in only three sets. Next, she scored 20 kills against a tough Southwest Christian. They ended up losing in five sets, but she helped her team stay in it until the end.
Sydney Peterson – This talented outside hitter is making the most of her senior year for Centenial. In her first four matches, she has almost reached 100 kills with her personal best of 19 kills vs. Coon Rapids. This was a stellar night for Peterson as she added 11 digs, 3 ace serves and 2 assists. Next up, she will face off with Totino Grace, Blaine and Rogers.
