On serve receive, she makes adjustments quickly displaying her fast-twitch muscles and movements, tracking the ball of the server’s hand accurately. Not only does she adjust with speed on serve receive – she also nails tough jump float serves, recording perfect “3” passes one after the other. Kaeden gives her offense the ability to run first-tempo plays off of serve receive to take the opposition out of system or crush first-ball kills.
On defense, she plays middle back, showcasing her talents by reading the opposing hitters and sitting inside the split of the block as she keeps the ball alive for her team. On her school team at Braswell, she plays offense as well, swinging on the pin at outside with great court awareness as she hits shots through the opposing block.
In addition to her defense and serve receive skills, she also has an aggressive jump float serve that rounds out her presence on the court. Although she plays libero during her club season at Excel Volleyball Club in the Dallas area, she is a well-rounded player who can step on the court and perform at any position under pressure.
During the 2020 school season, Kaeden led her varsity team in digs, kills, and aces at Braswell High School. She was also named to First Team All-District and Academic All-District in her district under the UIL 6A division.
