There were also players who were making their big splash on to the club scene. These are athletes who caught the eye of Prep Dig writers and will definitely be ones to watch this upcoming season.

#81 Anna Wise – 2022 – Pin Hitter – Sky High Adidas 17-2 NS
Wise is electric as a hitter who can do a little bit of everything. She swings with a heavy arm and has great jumping ability. Wise can score points, and her intangibles are infectious. Her team feeds off her tenacity, strength, and the unrelenting pressure she puts on the opposing defense.
#46 Elizabeth Muschong – 2022 – 6’0 – Pin Hitter – Westminster Christian – Sky High Adidas 17 White
Muschong was a huge gamechanger on the pin for Sky High . She is long and physical with solid ball contact where she can put some heat on her attack. Muschong has a fast swing and finds the split to score points. Sky High is a club with depth, and you should definitely keep tabs on Adidas 17 White this season.
#3 Erica Antle – 2022 – Right Side Hitter – LaSalle-Peru – Lions Starved Rock 17Red
Antle can put up a solid block and offers a strong scoring channel on the right pin. Her ability to hit a sharp cut really stretches the defense. And some teams try to target her in serve-receive to take her out as a hitting option, but she is a strong passer who passes nails from a tough angle.
#9 Grace Maschmann – 2022 – 5’6 – Setter – St. Bede – Lions Starved Rock 17Red
Maschmann is a really strong defensive player. She shows tons of hustle and gets to the ball before other defenders even think about moving. Maschmann embodies the idea of leading by action. She is the type of player you just don’t take out of the game.
#15 Lauren Bergstrom – 2023 – Setter – Hwc Ignite 17u
Bergstrom is really sound fundamentally and it shows in the most important ways, such as always getting her feet there. She is super scrappy both defensively and getting to the 2nd ball. Bergstrom puts the pressure on the opposing team with a really strong serve that is sure to take them out of system.
