Durham has great length as a left side attacker. When she gets her feet to the ball on time she has ability to maximize her contact point well above the tape. If she can utilize her left arm to more she will add lift and balance that will make her even more dangerous. She opens to the ball well so she can swing with power through the full range of the court.
Ava Hoying – 5’11 | Mintonette M.61 National
Hoying has a big arm and swings with good power and control. She attacks with a high elbow to increase her contact point that allows her to challenge the hands of the block well. If she can create a true double-arm lift in her approach pattern she will increase her contact point further and have better balance in the air. Her ball control and defensive skills make her a well-rounded six-rotation athlete.
Kamryn Hunt – 6’0 | Legacy 16-1 (Michigan)
Hunt has one of the biggest arms in this 2023 class in Ohio. She is dynamic in her approach to the ball and gets good lift off the floor. Her arm strength can overpower a block and get the ball onto the defense quickly. As a defender she has good blocking instincts and is quick in her movements to get up over the net.

One of the most complete pin attackers in the state, among any class, Jurevicius is a handful to try to contain for any defense. She has all the tools as an elite prospect as she is considered one of the best in her class on the national level and being recruited by multiple programs that are perennial national title contenders. She is a lock to open up our Prep Dig 2023 rankings as the top prospect.
Sara Pahl – 5’10 | TVC 16 Black
Pahl played like a veteran attacker for her Southview team as she led her squad in total attempts and kills per set average with 3.7. She also contributed 10 digs per match. She has nice arm speed in the air and can generate a lot of pace on the ball while showing good versatility in her attack points through both pins.
