Jourdan is an athlete. She is emerging as a high quality multi-sport athlete as she is proving her value in both volleyball and basketball. As a middle, she fills great space at the net when blocking and has good court awareness in her movement throughout point flow. She is developing her arm strength and speed and has potential to become a very reliable point scorer at the net to complement her defensive presence.
Anna Laczo – 5’8 | NOVA 16 Navy
Laczo was an offensive leader for her Woodbridge team during the high school season at 2.9 kills per set. The lefty opposite gets her feet to the ball well and can take a healthy swing as she opens her body well to the ball when in the air. She becomes more effective with a more deliberate double arm lift that will add elevation and balance. Defensively, she collected nearly seven digs per match this past fall season.
Lauren Pickett – 5’6 | Cincy Crush 16 Orange
Pickett shared setting duties for her Milford team during the high school season averaging five assists per set. She has good preparation as she waits to pursue the second touch. The balance and patience she presents allows her to move efficiently and develop consistent position upon contact. Her distribution is fundamental and effective and she can get all of her offense involved with good location.
Mia Sunahara – 5’7 | CVC 16 Black
Sunahara is a savvy outside hitter. In spite of her size and frame she elevates well and has good arm work in the air. She can swing for power, challenge the block, create movement and range, and use finesse to find gaps with off speed placement. Her movement around the floor during point flow is good as she shows good composure and patience to in all facets.
Alanna Vavao – 5’10 | Elite VTC 16 Black
Vavao has great all-around skills and good offensive versatility. She has good momentum build in her approach and can generate good power with her arm at the peak of her jump. She can swing on the pins, through a quick attack in the middle, off one foot overhead, and out of the back row. With six-rotation skills as a passer and hitter, she also plays good defense with good instincts and reaction.
